Gabriella is a 2021 graduate of Ashland University in Ohio where she completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in biology. In the fall she will be a Master of Public Health (MPH) student at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where she plans to pursue a certificate in Health and Human Rights along with her degree in the Sociomedical Sciences Department.
In 2019 she joined AMSA at her local pre-medical branch where she served as secretary. In 2021 she was elected president of her local branch, then later in 2021 she was elected national co-chair for the Health Care for All campaign. Gabriella has a particular interest in disparities in medicine, reproductive health, and healthcare access, especially amongst minority populations. She will integrate her knowledge from her degree and her positions at AMSA into her future work as a physician.
In her free time, Gabriella enjoys playing with and walking her dog, reading, and spending time with her family. Contact Gabriella with any questions you have, she is more than happy to help!
