Sravya Jannapureddy

Sravya is a second-year medical student at NYIT Old Westbury with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and Development Sociology from Cornell University. She also has a Master’s degree in medical sciences from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Sravya is passionate about advocating for women’s reproductive rights. During her first year of medical school she participated in AMSA’s Reproductive Health Institute in Washington, D.C. She has also presented an original poster about spatial disparities to abortion access at the 2020 virtual AMSA Con and is the current course director for the NJ/NY cohort of the Reproductive Health Scholar’s program.

Outside of school, her interests include the NBA (go Minnesota Timberwolves!), fantasy literature, fitness, and settlers of Catan.
