This year marks the 22nd AMSA National Primary Care Week (NPCW)! Over the years, we’ve focused on topics like Climate Change, Rural Health & Primary Care, among other timely and important issues surrounding primary care. The theme this year is “Health Outside of the Hospital” with a spotlight on the impact of COVID-19 on community and health care. Planned NPCW sessions include:

Wednesday 2-3 pm ET – “Home Centered Care Institute: Bringing Family Medicine Back Home” hosted by HCCI with guest speaker Dr. Paul Chiang, MD, Senior Medical Advisor, HCCI & Medical Director, HomeCare Physicians
Wednesday 8-9:30 pm ET – “Advocacy in Action: Writing Sessions” hosted by the AMSA Academy
Thursday 7-8 pm ET – “How YOU Can Help Set AMSA’s Stances on Primary Care” hosted by AMSA’s Health Policy team
Friday 12-1 pm ET – “Physicians in Writing” hosted by Goodrx
Friday 2-3 pm ET – “Get Comfortable: Gender Inclusion” hosted by AMSA’s Gender & Sexuality Action Committee
