As we look at this new year with hope and promise, there is no denying we are in a time of turmoil and great flux in our nation and within our health care “system.” The promises of historic investments in health care laid out by President Biden early in 2021 are still a work in progress, but coming closer into view.
COVID-19 and its impact on colleagues, families, workplaces, communities, and our own physical and mental health will be felt for a long while. It is vital that we find ways to connect and support each other. One thing we know for sure in this tumultuous time is that we are stronger together! To help connect us we’ll be hosting an AMSA Alumni and OATs reunion in conjunction with AMSACon 2022 on April 9. But we don’t have to wait until then—join us onlinethismonth!
